About the Project
Blue Ridge To Go (a local food delivery service) enlisted Atlas to help re-define their brand in order to make it more recognizable and iconic. Initially, we wanted to differentiate Blue Ridge from other local businesses that had “blue ridge” in their name, in order to branch out into other geographical areas. Atlas worked with Blue Ridge to help transition into the new name and brand of Valet Gourmet. For the new logo, Atlas designed a flying plate with wings and a custom script font that referenced the height of aviation and travel from the 1950’s to the 1960’s. Atlas then incorporated this into a new brand across all media: from business cards to website design and development. During the first year of the re-brand, Valet Gourmet saw over a 24% increase in their business, which they attribute in part to their new branding by Atlas. Their business and brand continues to grow steadily each year. All stationery is printed on FSC-certified, 100% recycled and chlorine-free paper using soy-based inks. Business was sold to Takeout Central in 2016.
