Meet Generation Z: Forget Everything You Learned About Millennials from sparks & honey

In building brands, we invest a lot of time in learning about culture and studying sociological trends across generations. In the last few months, research has started to emerge on Generation Z (born in 1995 – present day) and what can be expected from this generation. Generation Z are the children of most Generation Xers (born in 1965 – 1981) and a few late Baby Boomers (1945 – 1964).

In past years, it was projected that Generation Y also called “The Millennials” would be a larger population as compared to their younger siblings. However, the new research is showing that Gen Z is already the largest population to date at 25.9% and counting. And there are some pretty major differences between Gen Z and Gen Y.This slideshow represents some of the latest research into the personality, values and future of this group of young people and what we can expect from them.
