We worked closely with Guajiro founder, Christian Barroso, a second-generation Cuban-American to bring his childhood dream to life through custom illustrations, vivid colors and hints of Cuba sprinkled through out the brand.

The brand blends hints of Havana with a modern take on Cuban design that is fitting for their vision of Cuban comfort food. A portrait of Christian’s grandfather was referenced for the visual identity as our original guajiro and is the mascot featured on their hot sauce packaging design.
