SACRAMENTO FAST CASUAL RESTAURANT BRANDING
Developed by a Dutch Bros Coffee franchisee, bohl is a California-founded fast casual, health-conscious chain that encourages customers to easily track their macros on its ordering app without sacrificing flavor or variety.
Inspired by lifestyle brands like AG1, Vouri, Erewhon, and alo, we were tasked to design a scalable, highly recognizable, and intentionally sparse brand. The visual identity appears minimal with binary colors and clean, custom typography, so when paired with lifestyle or food photography, the fresh ingredients and food images would be front and center.

The visual identity intentionally feels like a California athletic brand and less like a fast food chain. It features a midcentury-inspired custom lowercase typemark in a warm black-and-white palette, complemented by modern, textured illustrations that feel urban, neutral, and mathy.
