CHOW CHOW

Events + Festival Branding

We serve as the brand partner for CHOW CHOW, a food and culture festival in Asheville that celebrates the chefs, makers, farmers and entrepreneurs who share their gifts around the table. Their festival branding project features a minimal and bright aesthetic with components set to evolve with the annual theme.

The brand utilizes a typemark allowing each letter to be pulled out of the logo and used graphically in patterns and motion graphics. Couple that with a foodie iconography set inspired by paper-cut shapes and vivid risograph color pairings. As the brand stays black-and-white, the iconography and how that is illustrated can evolve each year to make each festival be slightly different.
