Claudine
FINE DINING RESTAURANT BRANDING
Chefs and partners Josh Finger and Maggie McConnell met in the kitchen of Thomas Keller’s three-Michelin-starred Per Se in New York City. After years of working together in New York, the couple decided to relocate to New England and open Claudine, a fine dining restaurant with a thoughtfully crafted tasting menu, natural wine program, and an intimate dining experience.
The brand is as if Claudine, your eccentric and fancy great aunt, is regaling you with stories from her travels over the sound of clinking glasses and the glow of candlelight. Crafted yet bold, the hand-drawn identity and supporting marks weave together the narrative, with nods to history, inviting all to the table.

The logo is bold yet handcrafted, inspired by vintage type from the 1940s, while the loose icon suite adds curiosity as narrative pieces. Each touchpoint blends coastal flair, rich pattern, and charming wit to offer a surprise and an open door into Claudine’s warm atmosphere of hospitality.
