Motembo Foods is a family-owned gourmet food brand in Lansing, Michigan that specializes in all-natural, gluten-free, and keto-friendly foods. We crafted packaging design for their first line of products; gourmet Ramp and Wild Leek salted butters. From brand strategy to messaging, we helped this brand launch as Purveyors of Feel-Good Food®.

The brand should feel fresh, playful and allow the ramps to set the overall color palette. As Motembo seeks out shelf placement in all-natural, organic grocery store chains, it’s important that the brand feels polished so customers quickly see that this is a flavored butter with a very special foraged ingredient.

As they grow and expand into other product lines, the same playful nature of dancing vegetables and large product descriptions will continue to be a unifying factor in their packaging design.
