Poppy Handcrafted Popcorn started with Ginger Frank and her love for handcrafted, flavored popcorn. When Ginger approached us, she was four months into her new retail business and wanted to diversify her product in wholesale and the boutique gift market. Ginger knew she wanted something clean and modern, but wasn’t sure where to start or what would appeal to a more regional market.

The Solution

 

We worked with Poppy Handcrafted Popcorn to develop a clean and whimsical packaging brand that reflected the quirky and fun nature of the product in a recognizable and consistent manner. The brand sparks curiosity and the appearance feels like a party favor.

 

The Metrics: 

  • Poppy Handcrafted Popcorn is carried in over 250 retail locations across the country including Caesar’s Palace, Anthropologie, Dewey’s Ice Cream, The AC Hotel, The Durham Hotel and much more. 
  • They have received national press from USA Today, The Food Network, Real Simple Magazine and Food & Wine.
  • Year after year, Ginger has doubled her business and opened a second retail and manufacturing location in Black Mountain, NC.
